My paintings follow the trail of my thoughts.
The paths of my experiences open into my core, and from there they bloom — with colour, passion, and enthusiasm — into the world that surrounds us.
We are part of nature, one with it. All my inspiration and vision come from this connection, and I hope to take you within it — even if it’s through a small vine or a touch of blue. I wish to inspire you to see beyond the quotidian, beyond our rushed and carefully planned lives, and to offer you a moment of breathing in, of pausing, of wandering out of your mind and losing yourself in nature, in love stories, in worlds where there is no rush, no schedule — only calm, soft breaths, beauty, and the effortless gifts of the natural world.
I am a self‑taught artist, though my passion began at a young age, when I first started taking classes to learn the mysteries of colour. Life takes over, though, and we are often taught to prioritise practicality — to choose jobs that promise stability — so art becomes a hobby for “when I will have time.”
Years pass, and you become a different person. The pace of life trains you into another story. Mine led me to a Master’s degree in Engineering, moving to a different country (I was born and lived for 34 years in Romania), finding a new home, raising a family… and then, one day, your soul awakens again to the dreamland you once believed in.
I am grateful that today we have the chance to be self‑taught, because we have all the tools we need to learn, grow, and develop our own unique artistic expression.
My main medium is acrylics, but I love charcoal, I’m ready to explore mixed media, and I’m eager to try oil painting and watercolour.
There is always more to learn and to develop, and everything I create grows through accumulated knowledge. But what I know for certain is that painting brings out my true self, quiets my mind, and embodies the beauty of my world.
And yes — I am a bit poetic too...
Feel free to lose yourself in my stories.
